yeah the Conner family never give you a days peace :lol thought of tapping it but worried it would flap around, tested some glues and found contact cement will stick to the latex and plastic skull and ill only glue the cheeks so that the rest remains flexible to put on and off
Been busy on other projects including halloween, well we have had sun in the UK for more than five minutes so i got stuff done.
I remade my ammo belt for the minigun as the MK1 had the band strips made with different coloured foam and despite three layers of paint it didn't take much to see green 2mm foam so now i present the MK2
in comparrison
I also changed the grip on the 40mm grenade launcher to a joystick one to match the joystick grip on the minigun
should have the mask lights and switch done by the weekend so ill post when its finished
The lights are all wired up and installed and the latex mask is glued to the under skull
The camera makes the lights fuzzy but there sharp to the eye, next is attaching a shaft in the barrel assembly then attaching it to the minigun. Then wiring up the motor and batteries.
Finished the exposed section at the neck and base of skull, i used a cotton motorcycle balaclava to base it on. the skull part is part of a plastic bowl and the neck section is part of a plastic pipe with 2mm craft foam for details. i dry brushed a rust colour over the balaclava which will only be partially exposed in areas.
The minigun is still in bits lots of cool bits but still waiting for help with wiring the trigger switch on the joystick and wiring up the motor
