Hello! Time for my first project.

Hello!!!


Hello I’m Gibslayer (Jacob) and I’ve finally decided to join The RPF and start my first project.


Like many before me I shall be starting with a Kylo Ren Black Series conversion. I know everyone and their mothers done it but I’m looking for a good wearable display piece as I’ve been a huge Star Wars fan all my life, but I’m also a student so expensive replicas are out of my budgets.


So as a beginner I have a few questions.

1. What do I need to make sure I have?
2. Where do you guys buy from? (I’m in England, UK)
3. People who’ve done this what should I be aware of?
4. What are your top tips?
5. What should I avoid doing?

Feel free to say anything else I might find useful.

I haven't done the conversion (yet) but I can tell you: KRAZY GLUE WON'T HOLD THIS SUCKER TOGETHER! Use something like JB Weld or E6000 to bond it together. Oh, and did I mention to sand it beforehand?
