Finished opening up the back of the cockpit. Now lets tackle the Ion engines.

Now lets take care of the detachable system

Shaving the inners for better fitment and a flush look

update before the weekend. Humm those navigation sensors are looking way too flat. Lets fix them

Now lets tackle the hatch

Started cutting and fixing the upper hatch navigation sensor to match the original design, also lets shave the front tap that is used to open the hatch.

Now lets take of those hatch openings and see if can reverse all those rivets

The main view port comes with see thru plastic resembling tinted windows that need to be cut.

Filing and reshaping the main view port to give it a more smooth transition between the edges of the cockpit and the view port.

Main view port needs a bit more filing and shaving so does the rest of the navigation sensors to accommodated the new ones

Yeah I notice that too. May be because of the camera lens or may be all the improvements are starting to pay off.

Update
I added a more details to the main view port. Now the cockpit is staring to look more like the studio scale model.

No doubt about it.

Subtle updates

I extended the frontal navigation sensor, also managed to shaved off and countersunk all the rivets from the hatch.
