Another day in the creature shop. I've already made over 50 of these little buggars. By the time I am done with this year's run I will have made over 130 figures (700+ Castings, 950+ Pieces). Thanks for continuing to follow, there will be some cool updates in the coming months.

My Savrip arrived today. Got to say, this is my favourite piece by far. LOVE it. And the light-weight magnetic arms are a fantastic touch!

Very cool! Glad he arrived safely. I was a bit uncertain about the magnetic arms.. but I didn't just want to glue them in place, so I'm very glad you liked that. As usual, thanks so much for posting these images, I'm really enjoying them.

Hey, I was wondering if you would consider casting some up in clear resin so a LED system could be installed to give them a glow.

Unfortunately, this just would not be possible. Each figure is cast in many parts, will a lot of filling and sanding to get the parts to connect seamlessly. That would not be possible with transparent resins.

I honestly think they wouldn't look very nice like that either... And I'm sure transparent paint would not do them any favors.

These figures are all being turned in to Augmented Reality "holograms" though (Check out this video), and I think they are looking great!

Another holomoster done! The Houjix. Just one more left (The Ghhhk) and he'll likely be done this week!

Looks great. What are the measurements on the Houjix? Any pics of it next to your other pieces for scale?

Howl, here he is next to some of the others. Sorry for the crummy cell phone pictures. One day I'll have someone take some proper photos of all of them. He measures about 15cm long x 11cm wide x 8cm tall.

The Ghhhk is finished!

After 9 months of work, I've finally finished sculpting, casting and painting a full set of Holochess Monsters!

In order to make one set of 8 monsters, I use 42 molds which produce 75 separate pieces.
