Well that's annoying..how about this one?

for the holster pad - is the extra length for the edge piping taken into consideration (assuming that the dotted line as the actual edge of the pad before being rolled under)?

Just wanted to say thanks to all the posters as it helped my costume (Halloween party-grade at least :p ) come together. Received a bunch of compliments and certainly had fun doing it. Thanks again!

Ok, V1 of the nerf quad blaster starlord holster clips i was working on seem to be working & look somewhat correct (thank you shirra for the holster pad template to check alignment on!). not 100% movie accurate, but scaled to work w/ the nerf quad blaster & be close for the holster pad template shirra shared.

apologies for showing a black painted blaster on a black clip, but i'm working with what i've got. =p

i would not recommend running with blasters clipped in or general rough handling of these (my first time designing a model to be 3d printed, i have some durability concerns where the fingers meet the base). you may want to light sand & cover the clip fingers with something to minimize it scratching your blasters paintjob (granted, where it would scratch isn't easily noticeable, but you'll know its scratched).

Left: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mqrunmsz176w3am/StarLordHolsterV1-Left.stl?dl=0 (i have not printed this yet, just mirrored the Right file, but it should be fine)

sketchup file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3iwkwcfe6p10s15/StarLordHolsterV1-Right.skp?dl=0 (once you're done editing it, you can just mirror it to make the left holster clip)
Anyway I could get the files? The links are broken

Do you mind me asking what you used to attach the small bit to the blasters?

The clips came with double sided foam 3M tape. I haven't had problems with the tape so far.

My template is just the front of the pad with the front of the piping (hence the double line). How much extra you take for your own piping is up to you. Once sewn, the extra material can easily be cut off. Hope that answers your question!

ummm when did these new reference photos come from? from capn jack
Not that I'm suggesting anything, but I do know that recently (last day or so) a new, much better resolution version of the movie has been released as a torrent. Still not Blu Ray (or even DVD) quality, but better than anything else out there previously.
