Hanging your captain america shield

First real post, so please bear with me.

So this past summer I made a captain america shield because I needed something to hang on my wall and thought, "well anyone can get a sword...how hard can it be?" a few months later I finished my shield using Valor's awesome budget method with a few tweaks here and there to fit my needs. The hard part came when I went to mount the darn thing. My original thought was to use some sort of guitar stand, or wall hangars for the straps; but every idea had fault after fault. What I settled on was a stroke of genius- Magnets!

Using two magnetic window hooks attached to the sled, with a picture hangar wire taped in between, You can not only hang your shield up for display, but easily make it ready for deployment!.

I hope this helps anyone looking to mount their shield!

The magnets come in a 2 pack for around $10.00 U.S. and hold like a boss!

I put the magnets underneath the top edge of the brackets to prevent slippage.

And taped down the hanging wire to hold it in place until hung.
