A few finished pics from Emerald City Comic Con, where I won 'Best of the Masters' Category. Also, i'm screaming in just about every photo.

The costume is all foam. 1mm, 3mm craft foams, and thicker floor mat foams. There are two different types, one is the large roll floor mat foam which i used for the arm pieces, then the thicker square pieces.

the elbow and knee joints articulate thanks to 'doll joints' which you can buy super cheap on amazon. This makes the arms and legs very easy to walk in and they function 'as they should'

Here is a picture of the arm before painting.

The cloak is two giant pieces of linen stitched together. I'm finding that you really want a full half circle for a cloak, otherwise it comes out looking too short.

I don't have any good pics of the undersuit. But it's a couple pieces of Underarmor spray painted with the chain mail pattern. Which worked.. ok. I want to get one printed if I end up rewearing this costume.

There are a few more pics up on my facebook 'art' page at http://www.facebook.com/rawrbomb

The joy of seeing this in person at ECCC was that this costume is 50% build quality and eye for detail (which was amazing) and 50% attitude and energy, which you nailed. You carried the day with your style and personality AND a totally awesome build.

As you mentioned during the costume contest he never says "Kneel before Zod", but with your characterization, that's implied with every gesture. Well done!
