Your Indiana Jones Displays - Lets see 'em

This is my first time ever trying something like this.

Preparing for my Grail and Abner diaries.

I may end up remaking the ID

I'm on an Indy kick. I have mostly Star Wars prop builds, but in November, I was involved with a car accident that left me injured with herniated disks and forced to be on light duty at work. The Indiana Jones props are mostly paper and kits to paint, so I can handle those tasks for longer periods of time.

Here's my Grail

I used a patina method with gold leaf paint.

I bought a real WW I era passport for cheap. It's used and I would like to try to make Indys with it.

Also found some blank air mail envelopes that I can stamp or print on.

Trying to incorporate real parts in my builds.

Using an original 1930s Egyptian telegram, remastered and created a new blank that can be filled in using a 1920s/30s/40s typewriter. Tracing paper most closely replicates the very thin paper originally used for telegraphic messages at the time. PM if you'd like a copy of the blank.

My 15.00 dollar set of sankara stones.

Made from self hardening clay, can of spray and some paint washing. Took over a week for the clay to dry but I'm satisfied with the outcome.

I used measurements I found. 6 inches tall , 3.5 inches wide. The clay makes them heavy, but they're supposed to be stones, so this is a good thing

I posted pictures in order of the building steps.

Great stuff.. I'm undecided on the cherubs ath this point. Most likely will end up with them at some point. As you can see I made my sankara stones out of clay. Where did you find the sculpts?

In the last steps of a three part finsh.

I just chromed it. Once it dries, I will begin the gold process.

If you're wondering what I'm doing or why I'm doing it, check out the link below. I have followed this step by step with no alterations to this point.
