Yet another J.S. Compass build

Firstly, I'm not the best at navigating this site. If someone feels strongly that this should be posted elsewhere, let me know and I'll look into it.

I was hired to build a Jack Sparrow compass after someone saw one I had made with pics up on deviantart. This one turned out better, so I'm posting these pictures here.

If anyone would like to see details of anything, let me know. I don't have the compass anymore, but I took a lot of hi-res photos, so I can probably find the detail you're looking for.

The measurements follow almost exactly what are shown here
Although they could easily be a little off. I figured out how to assemble it following those directions a long time ago, and I've been slightly more relaxed about perfect accuracy since then. But I think it's still quite close.
 
Also from Pirates of the Caribbean, I made a replica of the key that opens the chest of Davy Jones.
It's cast in bronze, so it's heavy and strong!
