Yale and ERA Tardis Key Research (Info for the 1963-present keys)

No problem,

Now while I don't have any pictures of that key yet, I DO have something new I found:

Check out those pictures...apparently the BBC is also now KO-ing Megatrons Tardis key. I mean it even has the "beads on a string" going on and look at the layers XD And yes, from what I can tell it IS actual licensed merch. Absolutely amazing.

Yes, I have also ordered one for my archive, lol.

I just got the "4th" style version of this BBC release from Whona, man it's the weirdest key I have. Not only are the details MIRRORED BACKWARDS, the back is domed out, not flat, its a really weird key. And it's tiny.

I'm always amazed at how the official replicas of these keys can get it so wrong. And going by the shape of thier "4th" style key it looks like they tried to copy the 800-Trekker 7th/8th Doctor key.

I blame that on two things: politics, nepotism and "refinement by committee."

OK, that's three things...

...and miscommunication...

Four things...

...and manufacturers cutting corners with the design to maximize profit vs. materials/labor...

Five...

Erm, so...cottage industry exact duplication to order, anyone?

Since they came back in stock I just ordered some of the Mooncrest classic keys even though I didn't get into the show until the new series these will be my first keys, can't wait!

Never mind, I seem to have overlooked one page and found the Capaldi keys :p Does anyone on here have the correct cut patterns for any of the keys? Would be greatly appreciated
