Seems like it could it be a very cool replica at a reasonable price.

Dammit I was planning on making one of these, the base helmet has been at the sculpters house for 4 months waiting on him to start it. ole well....:confused

It's about time someone made this. I am suprised it took this long. I am still hoping for a fan made "kit" I can paint myself.
Someone here should make one from X-Men 1, so I can buy a copy! :)

I had plans for the X3 version but since ones already coming out I might have him convert it to the X1 version if there's equal interest in that one.

Just found the official site for the company and while it looks like they're just starting out, the pieces they have listed look great!

I was particularly surprised by their 'The Phantom' line including 1911 colts and a double-holster belt.

Also of note:
Among their 'Held Properties' list is 'Serenity'... :cool

Liking the concept art for the Cyclops visor. It's a bit strange how most things on their site are $349. :confused

I hear there pretty much crap, But I really want one, I wish someone around here would do a run, or I wish I had the skills lol

i checked out the windlass booth last time i was at comic-con,

their stuff looked pretty crappy. personally i would rather get a fanmade that id have to put a little bit of work into...

No one's links are working!

I wanted to see this.

I've never seen any fan made one's either... except for one person that sculpted one for Halloween... but that's it.

it says its metal, which is cool. but youll probably have to repaint it.

the visor moves, BUT.. the movie one was one peice wasnt it? i would think they would have made it custom for Ian Mckellan's head.

sounds like they made it with the mindset of people wearing it, so they took some liberties taking it away from 100% screen accurate,

which is good for the general public buyers...but for people like us here not so much...

i dont remember seeing one of these in person, but i saw the ironman helmets, which kind of sucked, and the thors hammer (Ultimates version) which was really weak.....id be hesitant i buying...

ive never seen a fan made either unfortunatly...
id have bought one already if i had

I've been in an X-men movie mood lately and was wondering if anyone actually own one of these and could post pics.

The best pics I could find were the galleries at sideshow-
https://www.sideshowtoy.com/?page_id=4489&sku=3804&ref=preview_page

I'm reallly curious to see what the interior looks like.

In all the pics I've been able to find, the paint finish is just terrible. Bumpy and uneven. And while the details seem soft compared to the screen used helmet, the overall shape seems good. Might be a good starting point for a high-detail sculpt.

It's also strange that they advertise this as an X3 helmet when it has the X2 paint job. Weird.

Here's some auction pics of the replica helmet showing it's wonkiness.

Wow, the shape looks WAY off. Plus, it's not even painted correctly for an X3 magneto helmet. there should be more bits of black around various parts of it.

I found some screen caps and tried to match them up with some of the shots of the replica helmet. Close in areas but just misguided in other. The replicas sculptor just didn't see many of the subtle design choices in the movie helmet's sculpt. Lots of clever angles are misjudged , ignored or misplaced.

Does anyone have the first or second Magneto Hemelt to reference the difference from this third one? At first glance I thought this was the first helmet not the third.
