X-WING & TIE PILOT HELMET progress pics

As i said, i would like to see a better replica of the hero face. The tubes are just ONE of the reasons why i would.

I think the photos below show what i mean.

Keith.

The tubes aren't any different. The faceplate just isn't sticking out as far.
I could show a screen used helmet, not tell you what it was, and you'd still be seeing 'inaccuracies'.

Thank you for posting those pictures, Gino.
I don't want to wrongly interpret, or make any false assumptions, could you elaborate what's going on in those pictures?

Great comp Keith! Interesting to see the details. Compairing the silver teeth and the all black one, Id say the tubes look the same, regardless of the lose ear.

Keith, just to clarify.
The TIE second from the top, on the left, and the very bottom left, are Gino's, and the rest are Screen Used helmets?

Yeah, I think youre right. Well if Im not wrong, the all black (no silver highlights) ones arent confirmed as seen on screen, but they were made for SW.

Thats like saying i'm picking faults that are not there (nit-picking) just to try and get at you. That is not the case and never will be with me.

Again, as i have said, seeing as you have and can make duplicate face molds from the ANH stunt casting, i was hoping you would try harder at replicating the hero face better. I thought thats what we have always done here, try and improve on our improved work.

Its like the lump in the right tube argument where you was saying people were wrong and the lump is just down to assembly (again) and the ear is pinching the tube. But then you go away and add the lump onto your face mold and start sowing it off.

I just don't get it. Its like we all either have to say everything is perfect or F*%k off.

+1 Gino.
The faceplate on the screen-used is simply more prognathic. This creates the illusion that Gino's helmet tubes are fatter as his helmet's tube lengths are slightly shorter due to less prognathism.

I had to look up the definition of prognathic, but yes you are exactly correct. :thumbsup

Top Notch work Gino:thumbsup

Thanks GF! I know we've talked about our love for TIE's for a very long time.

So Gino's helmet tubes look fatter because it has an under-bite?
Seriously?

Well, fat tube, or skinny tube, kink, or no kink, I have to give Gino props for his sculpting skills, this has to be one of the best, if not thee best Fan-Made sculpts. It almost looks like the real thing.
Great job, Gino! Keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your Fan-Made sculpts in the future.
