X-Men First Class Movie Discussion

How do you feel about all the various Felix Leiters? :lol

Every time a new Bond is born an angel gets his wings. Bond is always being re-written.

To me, it's more fun when there are constrictions and people have to work within them to make something work. Playing by rules already established and yet creating something never seen before - that's magic

In the Charlie's Angels movies Bosley went from Bill Murray to Bernie Mac and I've very upset about that still.

I like it. It looks better than Last Stand and Origins: Wolverine. Plus it looks a lot better than the last movie the guy who is playing Xavier was in (or that I saw him in) which was that Buchering of Wanted.

So thats fun.

Overall, like with a lot of Marvel movies, I know I'm going to enjoy it more than the DC stuff, simply because I'm less familiar with the characters, thus I dont notice as much when they are being raped by the films.

Ignorance is Bliss. :p

:lol

I just figured "Bosley" was an office you held.

Hmmm -- So that would mean that "Bosley" in some language means "MAN SERVANT TO SEXY WOMEN"

I'm checking the want ads. I will cease being Paul the Writer and become Paul The Bosley.

Then you'd get to work with your favorite director, McG. ;)

Marvel Studios is not the one making this film or the New Spider-Man they are still under license to other film studios, 20th Century Fox and Sony to be exact. The reboot of the Fantastic Four will not be by Marvel Stuios either the rights are still Licensed to 20th Century Fox. They will not get the rights back to any of those Franchises anytime soon. In Most cases I think the studio has something like 5 -8 years to do something with the property before the rights would revert back to Marvel, like just happened with Daredevil. In other Cases like with the Punisher the character was only optioned for a certain amount of time and has already reverted back to Marvel's control. Sadly with as much money as the X-Men and Spider-man films make I don't see Marvel getting the rights back for a long time.

From what i heard from someone working on Spiderman is that Marvel's deal on the new movies is a whole different contract than the ones they signed for the previous incarnations. Marvel's previous deals are top specific to those films - these (even though they are being distributed by the same studios) are to be owned by Marvel.

Big Red Magneto with a big poofy cape.

Holy poopies that's cool

They should have cast Kevin as "Loosefoot" - whose dance is so powerful it can change the social structure of civilizations.

well, since mommy (mystique) and daddy (azazel) are in this film....maybe we will see the making of nightcrawler :love

what!!, Mystique is nightcrawlers mother? Did he not have a crush or something on her in the second movie or maybe it was the third.. :confused
Seems very marty mcflyish to me..

Demons have such little regard for ethics and morality.

Magneto, AGAIN?

Do all the producers of X-Men movies have the same one issue of the comic book to go by? There are many other things to deal with. Why shove Magneto down our throats again?
