X-Men First Class Movie Discussion

Huh. At first blush, it looks okay... though I do still have issues with them breaking away from the real 'first class' of X-men. That said, this first trailer has me intrigued enough to give it a watch when it comes out.

Yes - they're the same easy to find ones on the rocketeer harness. :p


I don't know about this movie - young Magneto looks stupid and Beast looks even worse. I'm going to let my magic 8 ball decide on if I see it or not.

I do like the Yellow and black uniforms - anyone know who all the characters are? Black Tinkerbell threw me from the start.

Charles Xavier, Erik Lensherr, Emma "White Queen" Frost, Moira MacTaggart, Hank "Beast" McCoy, Raven "Mystique" Darkholme, Angel Salvador (AKA, Black Tinkerbell. ;) ), Sean "Banshee" Cassidy, Alex "Havoc" Summers, Armando "Darwin" Munoz, Azazel (Nightcrawler's Dad), and Janos "Riptide" Quested.

I have no idea who Angel, Darwin, or Riptide are. They're not canon that I'm familiar with, so they could be people that were introduced after I stopped reading religiously.

Me, neither. And I always thought Mystique was Nightcrawler's sister.

But then I sort of stopped paying attention after Paul Smith stopped drawing it, so there's that. I loved Grant and Frank Quitely's stuff, though.

Oh...EAGLEWOOD!!!!!! you know, for good measure. Oh, Love the helmet. If I had a helmet like that, I may be inclined to wear it everywhere. I wonder if wearing such a helmet would empower say, the dishes to do themselves. Hmm. Maybe if I were to add a cape. Maybe I could get serviced first when walking into my favorite restaurant. Hmm.
