Nope. Now if it was someone who claimed to be a Predator expert, maybe, but otherwise, no. Granted, there are some "bad movie review" channels on YouTube that don't seem to know about a lot of very common, very obvious sci-fi and fantasy movies and actors, I look at them a little weird, but generally, people watch what they want to watch.

I've never sat down and watched Predator or P2 straight through. Yet I know enough about them to understand the basic story beats.
