holy crap that is incredible. Wish my grandfather was alive to see that. I used to sit on the stool in his workshop giving him instructions on how my battlestar galactica viper was to be made and all the details he was missing. That was back in the early 80's. he made them from scratch and painted them for me. This brings back those memories and how great they were. Using no paint but to relief cut in the lettering is incredible.

That reminds me of when I was little, I asked my dad to make me a TOS communicator. So he made me one, but all I could do was complain about how it didn't match the show 100% instead of appreciating that he made me one period...haha. But I owe it to my father who taught me all about how to use tools and techniques. Here's to our dads!
