Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Congrats on 181 pages of Wolverine props and costume discussion!

Bam!

Got my Bergamot Brass works vintage (circa 1970's) Sitting Bull!

First faux- buckling over one of my old belts and a little minor cosplay photo action with my TOFP/ TW claws from Dark Matter- and with that, I'm one step closer to the prize.

Sunday I'll be breaking out my reference pics and model enamels.

Hi, I'm looking for some input on a wolverine origins jacket to be used primarily as a motorcycle jacket. I've skimmed though the thread, 181 pages! Any recommendations?

This looks great. Then cowl looks very similar to the Wolverine Japan version.

Kinda from this photo but it doesn't. Reevz sculpted it to look more of the 90s toon mask. I'd much prefer a cowl with the shorter ears because honestly, I always thought the long ears looked a bit goofy.

On another note, is anybody planning on reading the death of Wolverine story arc that's about to come out?

Thats what I've heard, little pricey for me but when your ___ is on the line... I actually sent them an email a few days ago, then found out about there lack of communication skills and long wait times, put me off. Someone is selling theirs on ebay atm but sadly it's too big for me :(
as for less expensive alternatives, I hear Wolverinejacket.com and the ebay user biking.zone are both good (for the price), but good enough to wear as a riding jacket? This is what I want to know.
Thanks

I've said it before, I'll say it again... But Dan hasn't ever had "bad communication" with me when I've sent him emails.. The wait time? Yeah.. That's him making the jacket you want.. (Plus everyone else's), so that does take time.. But even that's been lowered recently it would seem...
I've never had a problem with Dan...

I would have to agree with fifthchamber... My experience with Dan was great! He has superb customer service. I did have to wait for a response to my emails at times but I always got a response and it took a little longer than estimated to get my jacket but I know how that goes with custom made items. Bottom line is that I got good customer service and I got what I paid for even though it took a while. I would definitely buy another jacket from him in the future.

comonbub, nice outfit! the Death Of Wolverine sounds pretty interesting, I've read about the "direct sequel" and that storyline sounds cool too.

I was lookin around for cheap shades and ran into these that look ok to be a close-enough for the 70s shades http://www.discountreplicasunglasses.com/mens-aviator-wrap-around-sunglasses-kc05-p-94.html I found a pair of $13 shades at a gas station (the rack said City Shades CS Collection) that look kinda close to the OP Sadfords, I showed my gf and she liked how they looked on me along with my XO jacket... then I showed her google pics of Wolvie when he first meets Beastie at the mansion and all I hear is "Really?... Really?" hahaha :lol

My size 54 (EU) Helmut Lang arrived from Lithuania yesterday. I missed the delivery but have left the postal note to leave it in my hallway re-delivered.

I'll post pics if anyone is interested in it and the fit of an extra large and let you guys know how it holds up on a 6'3 frame.

My wife does the same thing. I try something new and she likes it then I show her the 'inspiration' and she laughs and thinks it is dorky after that. lol It shouldn't matter if I am copying a style from a movie character. You liked it before. ;)

Besides, how many styles does your girl rip off from magazines and tv style shows??? What is the difference?? ha ha ha

I just found a nearly identical fabric to this shirt. It's roughly 90% accurate to pattern, checker size and direction, multi-colors are present and they are (those colors) pre-distressed (dulled). It's overall a dead on match.

Not quite ready to post it as I contacted the seller to make sure they had enough yardage for a custom shirt build.

Stand by.

I can't wait to see the fabric . The closest shirt I have found to the X-1 shirt is this 90's Calvin Klein shirt. I hope yours is a lot closer.
