Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

I wasn't saying you were...

I said you're posting the photos without saying whose they were originally, leading several people to ask if they're YOUR photos...And not being entirely open about them not actually being yours.....

I never said you were selling things...You can still say "this is a photo from _______________" without breaking the forum rules...

Why are you being so obstinate on this? It's not your photos, so you should mention where you got them from....Easy enough principle to follow no?

Bub?

I tell you, when honesty and integrity are considered "old world notions" and "hopelessly outdated" then it's time to pack it in. I think we're dealing with a difference in maturity here.

I have to agree with everyone else here, I never post a picture that is not mine without saying where I got it from....It is almost like false advertising! I will be honest I thought you owned the things you posted because there was no clarification on the photos

TheWolverine - To be honest, I didn't know any better and I thought you were the biggest Wolverine collector there is. I was under the impression that you have been sharing pictures of your collection with everyone. I would have to agree with the others. It is a natural assumption that is made. Unless you are trying to mislead people then you should probably post information about the pictures up front. We don't need a complete history of the photographs. A link would be nice. I could have bought that jacket if I knew those images came from an ebay auction. I would suggest that even something as simple as "Hey guys, check out these images I found. They are the best pics of the XO jacket I have seen" would be very helpful in avoiding any confusion or misunderstanding. Then if someone wants to know where you found them they can ask... which someone probably would so you might as well put the link in the original post.

Personally, I think that the only thing that TheWolverine is guilty of is being overly enthusiastic.

TheWolverine, IMHO, if you are going to link images, or show images, it is just good posting etiquette to reference the material with the original link or say if you know anything about the origins. Even of all you have to say is " I found this a few years back and I forget where." Or " I do not know where these came from but I like them." Unfortunately, this community has a lot of people who have posted items in an attempt to mislead, therefore when a member, especially a new one is not being forthcoming, it tends to throw up a red flag. Once a member becomes established and has a good reputation, their motives tend not to be as questioned.

Everyone else, you should all know better to make assumptions here.

Give the dude some slack. It's a bit of work to collect and post pics for everybody else's enjoyment.

That said, a little context is nice. "Recent Auction photos" is all that is needed for the claw photos. Or "screen used jacket". A small description of what film they are from is even better.. Something so people know what they are looking at. Giving credit is secondary in my book.

Like I said, nobody else is reposting all the amazing Jimmy Claws auction photos are they? Give the guy some slack or do better yourself.

In full disclosure, the reason I'm annoyed at what you were doing is because I've had photos stolen from an online forum myself and used to sell a crappy jacket on eBay recently....

While the internet is in general "free" and should stay that way, I think taking random photos (especially the personal photos...Ones from a private individual and not the public arena photos like above) and reposting them is rude unless you've mentioned where it came from and ideally asked for permission to do so..It's just a decency thing for me...That's all....<Rant over>

There's also no need to get offensive about me asking you to do so...That's just weak...No need for it at all...I don't like what you're doing with the reposting, so I said so...You replied, and don't seem to think it matters, end of..No need to post a link saying "go f@ck yourself"...That's childish..Bub.

Um thanks for posting those pics I guess BUT I have every single one of those as google searching them. I meant that I haven't seen anyone seen to many people completing the costume
