Niiiiiiiiiiiice video work dude.

im pretty much gonna do my own thing with regards to detailing him, which his good cheak has been done BTW.

im having a few days off sculpting as work is mental, and im literally too tired to stare at anything for a length of time, as my eyes go all wonky.

big thanks for the video though.

Keith thanks for the praise , BUT dude thats embarressing, sculpt aint even in the top 20 imo. and mine is the only opinion that counts :D

your humbleness is sickening, lol. Even though i agree with you in that your opinion is the only one that counts, but i also think the same about mine, :D

It is turning out to be great. Can't wait to see more pics. Where are the pics Lee? Cmon dude! lol.

KEITH

Glad you liked the video mate! Adding your own style will be great!

Looking forward to more pictures!! :p

Goodluck!!

Bri :D

Oh man, that thing sucks!!! Especially the eyebrows!!!! :D
Lookin' all groovy and ****, my man. Which Chavant are you using?

Using Chavant Medium Carl. which is a bugger at the moment as its freeeeeeeeeezing :D

good job we got a nice warm log fire here to put the clay in front of :p

I think it's looking great so far, Lee! You certainly have the likeness down to a "T." I'm glad you went with the closed mouth version rather than an open mouth.

I guess you could always use wire to articulate the mouth on displaying it.

I'm so looking forward to seeing more images! I wanna start sculpting one myself!! :p hehe!!

That's what I'm using on the backpack, I probably should have gone with the hard, but oh well. I haven't sculpted anything biological (yet), but I would think soft would be the way to go on a head, n'est pas?

Again guys thanks for the comments, appreciate it :D

I will NOT be doing anymore to this until the weekend as im in no rush to finish it, id rather take my time than try and push myself when im tired etc.

Carl, i think soft would be alot lot quicker to work with, but when the weather is warm its fine, also i like the medium because im clumsy and if i knock it, it doesnt bash up to easy :p

Great work so far! I know that your doing closed mouth, but hope this helps:

thx, but im not using other peoples work as reference. i think mr baggy has done his own interpretation, dont want to follow what hes done.

id rather stick to the jaw shape i have as i feel its closer to the bust. :D

nice mask though.

from the work I've seen on the forums lee and from the mask i bought from you I know this will be one if if not the best wolf mask done with the few that are being made at the minute and if theres one available in april from you , i will probably be buying if you don't mind , by the way have you decided on what eyes you are gonna use for it ?.

Thx for the vote of confidence Darkhunter. I havent even thought about eyes as yet.

im hoping to have this done by the end of jan at the latest. im looking forward to painting one already :D

only down side is, my P1 suit has been but back in a queue again lol.

well you have an excuse to forget about p 1 for a little while seeing as though the new movie is out.
keep up the good work

About time you sculpted summin fleshy

a quick thanks to suckface for pointing me in the right direction with regards to loop tools ( found some on ebay bud :D ) i only have about 3 tools at present so hopefully this will make my life easier.

thats what this forum is about sharing info and helping each other out, just cos we sculpting the same thing dont mean its a competition or we cant share info etc.

Ive decided to smooth out the cheak i had done, as i dont like it in the cold light of day ( and no i aint showing any pics :) )

sooooooooo tempted to do summin on him after work today, woke up in a busy propy mood, roll on the weekend eh :) , only down side to that is i start work XMAS eve ( nights ), all the way through till New Years Day :D hows that for a ****** up xmas :p .at least i can get some sculpting down in the afternoons before work i suppose.

Loops are great tools, but don't forget your rakes and other things too...They hlp with smoothing things out...I made one ages ago by taking a loop tool and making little notches in the wire with a dremmel, I now have a selection of rakes that range from BIG to tiny and all the way inbetween...Oh and not forgetting dog brushes as they make for great tools for making pores and for generally raking up the clay...You might want to look at some dental tools too I have a number for fine detail work...This is looking good mate...Sorry to hear about your Xmas though, mind you I only have Xmas day off then I'm working again so you're not alone.
