(WIP) Nova Prime Helmet with Pics

I'm currently working on my first build using pepakura. I'm making Richard Rider's Nova helmet since he is my favorite comic hero. At the moment right now the resin is drying on the helmet, and then I'm going to put a coat on the inside. Once it is dry I will post some pics, and I'll keep updates on here. This is my first helmet, so it is kind of messy looking, but I'm hoping to smooth it out.

There are a lot of kinda dents and ugly looking parts on it right now (it's my first build, so the pep folding and gluing is kinda messy). I hope I can fix a lot of that with bondo.

It is my first build so I don't think I spread the resin good enough, as you can see there are some darker wetter looking parts. I also think I put a little too much resin on it, it got a little soggy. I am going to put the fiberglass cloth on the inside next. Hopefully it will turn out good...

I have gotten most of the inside fiberglassed with the cloth and resin, and there are just a few smaller spots such as the nose and the bottom brim on the inside that need some on it. Then I'm going to put the body filler on and lots of sanding. When I start putting the body filler on I'll post some more pics. Where I live right now it's 50 degrees outside everyday, so the resin takes a very long time to harden and cure, so that's why it's taking a while.
