How to explain this :confused
My brother is is a painter, working in acrylics. He does mostly pop-art stuff on canvas, but he also likes to work on unusual projects, like a female mannequin, painted with images from the Universal Frankenstein movies.
I'm supposed to be putting together a website for him, and we wanted to work on a project together for that.
We both like Giger, and I like guns....
The prop started life as a rubber stunt G36 from Sahara. The idea was that I would sculpt and paint the stock and a few other bits and bobs, and Steve would paint up the rest of the gun with reproductions of Giger's work.
I started off by spraying the gun white as a canvas, then set at it with the Milliput and gunmetal. The result so far...
There's still a fair bit to do. I need to finish the shoulder rest & intend to have the underside bristling with little alien eggs :love
Dead Baby Ball
This is a cast resin sphere aout the size off a snooker ball, which will be peering out of the scope eyepiece. Painted by Steve
