Would it be possible to add to existing deposits to help fund material purchases and such? And for what it's worth, I wouldn't even be opposed to ordering a second one if I have to in order to make this happen. I just can't do that for another week or so. :/

I have to say I'm shocked at the lack of commitment on this project. When someone offers to do a run on such an awesome piece and so many people say "I'm in" then when the time comes for deposits no one steps up. Many of us here know BigG's work and how his attention to detail Unsurpassed. I for one believe that ppl sacrifice quality for cost. Sure, you can buy garbage on ebay and is horrible. I was looking forward to this mask and if it's canceled that's gonna really suck.

Stop pretending to commit if you can't.

Is one more going to be enough to do it? I've been on the fence here all day, trying to decide if I could validate it or not (as the costume doesn't necessarily need it to be complete), but if I'm going to tip the scale, then count me in.

Also I will need to figure out how I'm going to do the lenses now.. it was going to be a vac-former...but there is nowhere near enough interest for me to buy one of those.. I will keep everyone posted. If things go smooth...end of the month to get these going..

Have you thought (if you have a cutter) about using styrene? It's (comparatively) simple to and flexible; you can also very it with a non-glare finish as it is used add a glass alternative in framing. Some standard black window tint would get it dark and still maintaining visibility.
