Limited Run WInter Soldier Mask and Goggles

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

Those look awesome! I got a question though. Is it possible to get just the face guard only?

Im not sure what you mean? It will be sold as a whole kit. Its designed to fit together..not go with any other prop.

Bump for interest. I should get something done on this over the weekend...hopefully :)

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

On the list :)

I will start taking deposits this week. I need to know how many I'm making to order the lens material, straps, etc...

Can't wait! I don't have much left to finish up this project. Very excited for this one.

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

I'm definitely still interested!

So I'm completely new to ordering something like this/working with something like this so if these questions are ridiculous I'm super sorry lol.

Do we paint this/assemble this ourselves? Is there a tutorial out there somewhere that would be good to read up on before attempting to do anything to the mask? Is every part of the mask completely rigid like solid plastic or does any of it feel like fabric?

I'm sure you think I'm completely nuts to be asking those questions but I honest to God have no clue what this mask is even made out of or would feel like and have no clue what to even use as a search term to do some more research on finishing this.

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

you have the pieces why does it take so long to mock something up???

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

If you aread my first post, the mask will be rubber..no fabric. and the goggles will be resin and they will have some type of elastics to hold them on..

Seriously?? Have you seen all the stuff I do? I am one guy here, just trying to make cool props as accurately as I can... I'm not in a race to get things out..I want to focus on quality and accuracy not speed....

actually no i am just following this thread not sure of anything else you are doing , but as for me i see you have the pieces it would not be hard for you to place the goggles on the mouth piece you have just to get an idea of what the finished piece would look like i am all for quality... you do great work of what i have seen in this thread only....

Re: Winter Soldier Mask and Goggles from 3D print**print pics #75**

The finished piece will look like the 3D model in the first post.. What else would it look like? :)

And a 3D print is not just a matter of putting it together, there is a ton of work to do after I get the prints..

Not trying to be rude, but you clearly have no idea how busy Biggeek is and what it takes to put a prop together with the level of detail we are trying to go with. Have a look at his other threads and see if there is one of his finished pieces that doesn't look exactly like the renders, if not better. You won't fine one. Plus he hast to prime, sand, mold, cast and often paint casts to bring them to a phenomenal finished state for people who order them that way. Fulfilling orders is a busy enough task as it is, working on multiple projects while trying to do that is just ridiculous.

End rant.

I'm super excited to see this come together, but no rush on it buddy!
