This is my first thread, so I'm hoping I didn't screw up the rules somehow, but it appears this is the section for reviews. I plan on doing a youtube video at a later date, but for now I just wanted to share this awesome experience with therpf because I know there are some of you looking for new or cheaper ways to get hold of a Cap shield.
What I got.

Screencap from the Winter Soldier.
I am going to get the bad stuff out of the way first. I bought this through ebay and had to bid on it. He makes these, but does not have a Buy It Now option. I discovered his facebook page later, so maybe he'll do a commission and charge you a flat price, but I don't know. Secondly, I couldn't find any reviews here or elsewhere for his shields, so I think I'm the only review there will be. The ebay thing is really my only complaint. Nobody else bid, so I got it for the minimum price, but I would not have liked to bid on it.
First off, the price was $390, not including shipping. Shipping to the US brought it up to $475. CousinDave sells his aluminum shields for $595 shipped, so I'm sure you're wondering why I didn't just go that route. Well, that had to do with the timing of some extra cash in my pocket. And maybe you don't think $125 is saving very much, but I am up for saving as much as I can on such a big purchase.
The shield is made with resin somehow. I'm not exactly sure what all goes into it, to be honest, but it is not metal. It certainly has a weighted feel to it, though. Feels very durable, but also lightweight. It is smooth with no rough edges and the shape is perfect. I'd also like to be honest, I am not a fan of the aluminum shields. Yea, they look pretty cool, but I always see them at cons or in TFA and think that the damn thing is too shiny. I understand that they used CGI for some parts, but even when I see the aluminum shields in real life, I always think they look out of place. Like they're not real. I think the folks at Marvel thought that, too, because in Winter Soldier the shield is far less shiny and doesn't clash so much with the surroundings.
There are straps on the back, much like Valor's, but I have never seen Valor's have accompanying pieces for putting the shield on the shoulders. I may just not have seen enough pics. The straps are made from real leather, as far as I can tell. He said they were and they appear to be, but I haven't had a whole lot of real leather goods. You can unscrew the shoulder straps to just hold it with the hand straps, but I wish they would just snap off. If I go to a con, then it will be a pain to do that, so I'll just have to hold the shoulder strap, too, to make sure it's not dangling like in the pic below. Additionally, I don't feel like there are enough holes in the leather belts because it is just too loose on me. I am a skinny guy, so that might explain it. I will probably add some holes myself.

The original color was a sky blue in the center. Before I bid, I sent Christopher (WMC guy) an email asking if he could repaint it. He did so for no extra charge. The customer service was just great. He had trouble repainting it, he thinks due to a heat wave in the Phillipines, so he had to go back several times. He offered to just give me a refund because it was taking so long, but I said I wasn't in a hurry. With that said, after he shipped it, it took less than a week AND THAT WAS USPS! I assume if you buy one already made you'll be getting yours very, very quickly, but I can't say how long it would take if he has to make one from scratch. Still, I really admire that he got back to me within a day of all my emails and seemed very sorry for the trouble with the repainting.
I hope this was helpful to anyone in the market for a Cap shield.
