Anyone who knows me can tell you how much I LOVE Disney films. I even have a huge 70+ DVD collection which is continuously growing. So since I started cosplaying in 2010 I have a goal to make every hero/heroine and villain/villainess that I can from Disney movies.
And what better way to start than the very first animated feature Snow White. My daughter loves to cosplay as well and jumped at the chance to be Snow White.
It took me about 4 weeks to make on and off with a total cost of about $150 (more if you include the failed cape attempts using crushed velvet.... never again)
I even went to the trouble of having not only the red red apple but the poisoned green apple (the one the queen pulls from the cauldron) and the box for the huntsman to put Snow White's heart in. Most of the photos are with the red red apple though.
One tip I would like to give: Use velvet and velour with caution and a lot of pins especially when lining with satin as well!!
They were worn at Supanova Adelaide 2012. Although my Little Snow White would have been spotted at Avcon 2012 (I was Cinderella and my fiancee was Prince Charming)
