Hello all.I was thinking, that maybe it could be very nice for all of us, to have a Sticky with all the great kits, makers, price, pictures, and contact data...That way it could be easy to locate the kit that you want, (i am sure all of us would like to buy al of them... ), and order it.What do you think?Best regards to allAlfredo (Madrid Boba)

WOW! What a great idea! One stop shopping for all the C&D's to be handed out by the studios.

Please look at the first post. It says sticky.....English is not my mother language, but i believe that a sticky is a post that will be always on the forum, on one of the first positions.... with a general interest for all the forum members....So..., what i meant is a post where all the members that make kits, could let us know what they do, pictures, price, etc.....It will save us a lot of time searching for kits...

Madrid Boba,
I see you are new; Welcome to the RPF.

The reason that it would be a VERY bad idea is that it would be "One-Stop" shopping for studios and lawyers to locate everyone they want to sue for copy right infringement.

That sort of thing is frowned upon.

Yeah, but you don´t have to make it easier for them than necessary ;) And if they can use the search function, so can the board members.

I mean, if you look back ten years, you wouldn´t have had it as easy as just using a search function to find something ;) Ah, the good ole days before eb@y :cry:angel

Wow, one persons idea is a whole cultures nightmare.

Not such a good idea. New to this community are you?

I don't think it is needed because of the quality of the search function, but I also think much of this is an over reaction. If "they" wanted to look they would. I don't think a stuck thread make one bit of difference. They really are smart enough to scroll down or look in the JY:lol

P.S. The smoke detector is actually a miniature camera the government controls to keep tabs on us as well.:)

Just kidding..to each there own.
I don't think this type of thread would be any "legal" problem at all, but that is just my opinion.

I´d say a collection of all available kits and where to buy them at what price into one single thread could be interpreted as a conscious decision of the community to establish a professional marketplace, contrary to a hobbyist movement such as the JY where all kind of stuff is bartered in single or very low numbers. I´d say you don´t have to put oil into an already evergrowing fire (see COD´s on €b@y). Under the radar...
