Why does this latex mask look like this resin bust?

well i have no idea about this kinda stuff but if your tryna say these masks look the same facial and detail wise they sure do bud

well, the latex mask doesn't look very similar to the busts (apart from both being a P2 obviously), check the outer eyebone and the crown.
But the bust in the middle and the bottom bust do look very much the same. Again, check eyebones and most of all that little thorny edge on the outmost and highest crown spur, it looks like a little shark fin, both busts have it and they both lean in the same direction. That's an odd detail.

Hmmm... you bring up a few good points sir. There are similarities between each piece. Although it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the Steve Wang P2 bust was used as reference. It looks like Psycho Monsterz copied the crown of the Wang P2 because the Wang P2s' crown is too symmetrical and uniform. Same with the latex mask. Perhaps they just used his pictures are a guide?

I think the one Larry has on his site came directly from Steve Wang from the original P-2 molds didnt it? I know Steve painted up a couple bust that were commisioned by a select few clients.

The Wang P2 was an original sculpt that was commissioned
by myself and a friend.
He made 3 of them.
I think Collora got a pull of it for dead end as well.
That's it. The mold is gone.
Bob Bagy did a nice P2 sculpt and the one in the picture
looks a lot like it.
That is probably his or a copy of it.
There was one on E bay recently.
Maybe it went to a recaster.
Psycho monsters copied the Wang P2 directly from pictures
of my head.I've seen pictures of his sculpt surrounded by large
pictures of mine.
Mine's made of latex poly foam.

No it can not. If you read the post from larry's post you can see only 3 where made.
