Which dream prop would you want?

I have mine -

These are both full size, the X-wing came from Lucasfilm, ( they were throwing it out !) the APC is fully driveable (the airplane is not mine !)

My dream prop would be a pair of Snake Plissken's boots from Escape from New York! I know a few have replicated them around here and I would do anything for a set!

thanks,

My dream prop is more of a model from Doctor Who.

I'd even go as far as to say that it's from one of the best effects shots that the show ever had (IMHO), including everything from the new series too. All the way from 1986, it's the Trial of a Time Lord space station.

While I would love to try and replicate it, there is one part on it that I just cannot identify. It has to be from a model kit, but I can't place it even though it looks so familiar. It's a part that was used on many BBC models throughout the 1980s and not just in Doctor Who either, I've also seen it used on various Red Dwarf models too.

If I could have that model, that would be a dream come true.

Other props that I really would like has to be either a Ghostbusters Proton Pack or something from Indy, maybe the Golden Idol.

I'm pretty sure that is the neck part from the 1980's Star Wars ATAT kit.

Iceman - Is that X-wing complete or just the nose and cockpit?

I do not understand why they would throw something like that out. They could auction that. I assume you paid something for it?

Just curious. If it was being thrown out it just further shows Lucas and his Co.'s disconect with their fanbase.

One of the screen used hero firing Morita's from SST, or any nice Morita, man are they hard to get a hold of or what!!!

No, it's just the front half - it was in pretty bad shape when I got it, I was dropping off the APC for an event, so I had the trailer with me, and I saw the cockpit sitting on the side of one of the storage buildings, I asked the individual who had just moved it what was the plan, and he replied "I'm tired of moving it around, so it's going in the dumpster. I went to the admin office and after some discussion I was allowed to take it with the caveat that I cannot sell it, and if they wanted it back I would need to comply.
(I worked for LFL back in the 1980's in the Model shop at ILM, so I have some connection there)

LFL never sold any of the props or models, some were given to key cast & crew members, other stuff was sent to the dumpsters, only to end up in the trunks of the employees at the end of the day. This is one of the reasons screen used SW stuff is so rare.

I know there was one made but it came and went and I'm not even sure how many there were. The sword of power from the masters of the universe cartoon. The one that I saw looked too big, I would want one made to my specs. I guess I'd go as high as $600 for it in some sort of metal. $300-$400 in well painted resin.

Screen used or deactivated E-11, hopefully one that is both.

Heck, even a replica would be nice or a converted Kenner Blaster.

Probably my dream prop would be John Winchester's journal from Supernatural. It would be great constantly updating it with new pages of demon info etc. I've been searching for what seems like forever for a suitable leather journal but still no joy.......my quest continues
