Which dream prop would you want?

there are so many, I can't list them all, but the top of the list remains, an affordable (in other words very cheep) Quelt blade from Farscape, Pulse rifle from Farscape, and Mara Jade's lightsaber. There all out ther, but all way out of my price range. I would love to find each, for around $100 - $150. each, or less. (and yes, I would be more then happy to settle, for a kit of any of them, in that price range. ) Of course I could list, many, many more, those 3 have always been pretty close to the tope of my list.

Oh, and a metal B5 PPG, that I could afford, would be great too.

Oh, and a Han Solo in carbonite. (I'm tempted to do myself, in "carbonite" just too keep the cost down, and make sculpting easier.)

I wouldn't mind having some kind of small droid too. like a Pit droid. What I would really like is for someone to figure out how to make on from cheep found parts, so I could do my own.

You really can do this hobby on any budget, no matter how small, but the less money you have, the more owrk you have to put into it, or you just have to except that there are some props you will either never have, or will never be able to get an accurate version in your price range. (as sad as that is. :( )

That said, my B-day is October 31st. I know that is a ways off, but gifts are welcome. ;)

Still waiting on a nice, affordable, 1/1 Jurassic Park Velociraptor...I also wouldn't mind a Klownzilla maquette from Killer Klowns.. anyone up for the task ? ;D

Hmmm. A non-functional Charlize Theron is possible! ;)

I would want either the EM-50 from Stripes or the Ark II. I actually saw a GM RV for $200, but I couldn't get it at the time. :_(

Ditto on the Webley Fosbury
A functioning 3d rending machine thing like in Small Soldiers.

Not much else I would really want that I can't build.

I'm not kidding about building the Non-functional Charlize...it can be done for a few K.

;)

Screen used Stormtrooper Hero suit from ANH/ESB.

Finish my 1 to 1 costume display... Han In Carbonite with Boba and Vader.

I have four fan-made lightsabres that I've been looking for.

Three were made a few years ago by a fellow in Australia. Saw them on Ebay, lost the bid--contacted the seller and I think he must have thought I was some nark trying to bust him, because the conversation seemed sort of suspicious in tone. These 3 sabres are not part of canon, but would essentially 'finish' my lightsabre collection, should I ever be lucky enough to find them. I'm so serious about this, I've considered posting pictures of the original source info to see if anyone here can connect me with the buyer--just to see if we can swing a deal--or the original seller to see if I could commission him to make them.

The 4th lightsabre is just an old Parks sabre--but is was his version of Maul's battle-damaged half sabre. I would LOVE to have one and am surprised that after all this time I've never found one--especially after MR's version came out. I still hope one turns up.

And of course, I'm always looking for Marco Ent lightsabres. They appear occasionally.

practical magic spell book replica pages charmed dollhouse replica sabrina the teenage witch spell book replica pages.

Babylon 5 Book of G'Kar and Valens staff.
Gotta say a full sized Ark of the Covenant also.

A fully functional & firing M42A1 Pulse Rifle.

You did say "dream" prop, after all.

Seconded on Charlize Theron - I'd like the Aeon Flux prop version.

There actually is one out there! Its a modified Chinese Thompson sub machine gun clone that has airsoft Pulse Rifle parts grafted onto it. It was on youtube a few yrs back. Im guessing it fired .45 cal rounds but only held 8 in the clip by my count.

Well, since you asked-

I've always loved this prop. So far I have a chair, deck, unfinished dish, and unfinished drive. I've had to put this project on hold for a number of years because I had bought a house which I had struggled to pay for and a live-in fiance to take care of as best I could. Since then, the fiance has moved on with her life, and had thought I could continue with the project. Then I lost my job after 16 years as a patent illustrator at a local law firm and have been fighting for survival since.

I still want to fiinish this with the dish turning for the future or the past as it responds to the lever action. I also want the lights to flicker, brighten and dim as in the movie. And I have been searching in vain for a clean recording of the machine whirring time travel sound effect.

I completely understand. I think the lack of finances effects more of us than we admit.

I am now disabled and been unable to work forover 3 years now. Waiting for disability approval, which is a joke.

My wife works as a senior paralegal (degreed)/office manager for a local law firm during the day, and Target at night. Needless to say, I have zero fundage for props.

But if I were dreaming, I would have to say most any props from either Star Wars or ST:TNG, as I was impacted the most from these two genres.

I was old enough to realize what I was watching was something special way back in 1977 with SW.

And I was hooked on TNG from day 1 in 1987. My mother passd in1989 when I was 16 , and my mentor at the time who helped me deal with it was a writer for the show.

I thought this thread was originally for....

1)What one prop would you want for your collection that is not currently made on the web? This might be my next project if there is enough interest out there.
2)You must also post how much you are willing to pay for it.
3)It can't be a licensed piece.
