What's up with Sideshow and the Terminator Combat bust?

Hey guys,

I don't mean or want this to be a "complaints & grievances thread" but does anyone have any solid info on what's happening with the T800 1:1 Combat Version bust?

As I understood it there were some QC issues with the first shipment. I pre-ordered one a few months ago and the new stock was supposed to ship in October, then it got pushed back to November. I've been trying to have continual contact with their CS department but haven't gotten a solid answer lately. Finally December rolled in and still nothing... now their site says "first quarter 2008". The strange thing is that this bust hasn't been mentioned at all in any of their newsletters for the past few months. It's like this particular item is caught in limbo.

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything.

I do not know about the QC issues but I have had my Combat bust for over 3 months. It has no issues and shipped right after it said it would. Have you called customer service? I would as I have not heard anything about this.

Just noticed your overseas so there might be a problem with the EU wharehouse. I would call and find out what is going on. I have never had a problem with Sideshow. Unlike other places they have worked with me everytime. One time I had one little problem. They offered to give me a refund and send the item in. I told them that I didn't want to do that so they credited my account 25% of the cost. This was a 300.00+ item.

Yeah, I called them a few weeks ago... they were going to check and get back to me but I never heard back. That I'm in Europe doesn't matter... it's on backorder in the States as well. They DID manage to ship a few when they first arrived. I'm guessing they didn't get enough of them or something but they can't seem to explain what's causing the delay. I initially had it on pre-order but canceled 'cause it was taking so long to be released. Then when it finally WAS released I put in a new order but by then the backorder thing had kicked in. The pristine version is sold out, but not the combat version. I just hope they get them sorted soon... can't stand to have all that cash just sitting there!
