On my bench - Colt Pythons (Gel Blasters) added some lead weight for realism, painted one chrome and the other wood handle....Pulled R2 out of the dark to start the refurbishment program.....EDIT: Can't buy pistol grip where I live, so molded and cast another for a project..

A couple of Pulse Rifles, one mostly metal (just casting some Thompson pewter parts) and the other (Alien3 commando) 3d printed resin parts with a pla+ shroud and spas12 cage.
Also a Spas12 deac with a 3d printed replacement cage and grip.

I just completed an “idealized” version of the “Theta” communicator.

There are skant few images of the original prop which allows me to make some artistic license choices in interpreting certain details, such as what the clearly two-part moire may have looked like, for example.

Here is the original (with the large blob of glue distorting the lower 1/4 of the moire)...

...and another shot which gives a glimpse of the rear of the comm.

This weekend, I also finished up a non-functional Wand Phaser II that I had decided to revamp with a more “screen accurate” look complete with:

- New aluminum and brass parts on the Phaser II
- Recut Phaser II body shells
-New Phaser II handle
-Replaced the Phaser II side and top heat sinks
- A new Phaser I emitter, acrylic half round, watch crown, Mylar extra crispy, and recut Phaser I shells.
- Brushed-on paint on both the Phaser I and Phaser II.

Nothing like a good communicator build. This is very slick, love it!

I need to open up my Panasonic boom box. The FF and REW buttons are both down and the auto stop is not working... need to get my tape out and be able to listen again!

Maybe I’ll document the process?

Update on my Thanos build
I’ve now printed all the parts and glued them together,
Just fill rub and primer for the next couple of months !!!
going to install LEDs and wires in the base for illuminated crystals before I glue that together,
the crystals will be resin printed in the correct colour.
