What's On My Workbench?

damn ,...ya got a nice collection goin,.....
what kinda direction ya going with paint ????

spot on or doing some of your own style ???

either way they're gonna look dope brother,.....

(( my son saw mine for the first time and went,......" ewwwww ....koo !! " ))

Paint will be the typical P1 and Elder paint. I'll try to snap a pic this morning of all the heads and Bios that I'm working on...

Well I might not be a Bio-Whore like Bryan...in fact I don't think anyone will ever come close to Bryan for the number of Bios in a collection, but here are some pics of my Bios. The 4 on the bottom are completely finished, the ones that are grey have primer on and are ready to paint, whereas the 7 others need some work done before they can be primed.

And I have few heads to work on.

Huge props to Casey, Paul, Corey, Juan, George, seahunterr, Richard, Daman, Faken, japgoth, Isaac and Scott Marshall for being such awesome people to deal with. None of these props would be possible without the people I've mentioned. The Lair is an incredible place for bringing all of us Pred-heads together so we can share our passion for all things Predator.

A few of you remember when I went through a rough patch years and sold most all of my Pred stuff. Thanks to the understanding of my wife who realizes its an addictive hobby and all you crazy mofos who encourage me to keep painting and working on stuff, I'm going to keep on doing the hobby until I'm no longer on this earth. I fund new purchases with the money I make from selling existing items - and as you can see, I've got a lot of work to do!

holy crap J! that is an amzing collection! andbig kudos to you for going with resin! they will last forever!
and last :
I hate you!!!
JK buddy
congrats on such an awesome collection!

1st of all Jay I'm the "Bio-Whore King". Savage collection mate, you got enough work ahead of you to last a few years so better get cracking asap.

Jason you know I am a huge Morris head whore so whenever you get around to posting pictures of them it's like Christmas. Can't wait to see them all finally painted and finished.

Thanks for the comments...and yes I know I gotta get cracking, but I've been on an Apoxie kick lately and I want to get all the Apoxie filling and sanding done before I start any painting. Only 3 more Bios to go then I can prime and start painting!

One thing thats always bothered me about the KJP1 and hez's P1 is the dent in the dome. This weekend I filled the area with Apoxie, waited for it to dry, and then sanded the **** out of it. Dents are gone

First filled with Apoxie:

Then sanded:

Jay those pics are absolutely AWESOME! I love your collection. That wasn't even all of it! o_O haha. Love your work on the bios and I can't wait to see the heads get finished!!!

Always enjoyed watching your threads, sort of a "how to" in most parts. Sweet bio and mask collection.

Hey, you may not have Bryan beat out on the amount of bios, but perhaps on the number of P1 bios, you have seven.

Jay you;re a wannabe bio whore... and yes u may have more P1's than me... 7 to 4 but I'm getting ready to bio splurge again... I AM KING OF THE BIO-WHORING

Brad, I find that sanding is fun, but tiring on the arm after 3 hours. We got a Chinook last night so at least last night it was +4 in the garage. After working on 6 Bios I got a lot done. Primer going on 5 Bios today...I'm excited...almost everything is primed and ready to paint. I'll be like the fat kid in the candy shop trying to decide on what to paint first!!! But Scott Marshall's heads and the Stunt P1 are first on the list of things to paint o_O
