What should I place my prop in?

So I made my first commissioned prop gun and will be giving it to the company that commissioned me to make. They will be picking it up in person. I am not quiet sure what I should give it to them in for safe transport for conventions and what not. I want something better than a shoe box haha. Also something not too expensive. What do you guys think I should use?

It is about the size of a normal hand gun.

You could put it in an old cigar box, painted or stained up nice with a soft material lining, velvet or similar. A jewellery box could do it as well.
