What movie have you only seen ONCE, but everyone else a million times?

Funny enough, The Dark Knight, as I didn't like it much. I might see it again as I liked Batman Begins.

Iron Man was another, and The Thing.

Yup - The Dark Knight.

And Avatar too - only once in the theaters, and haven't bought it yet.

Saw Titanic three times in the theaters, on the other hand.

I still haven't seen Avatar.

Scarface - saw it once. Liked it, but never felt the need to revist

"Blazing Sattles" - A lot of people I know watch this movie over and over again, but I've only ever seen it once.

Also "It's a Wonderful Life" - I know it's on Christmas every year, but I've only run into the movie once.

Oddly both of the Iron Man movies I've only watched in the theater but never again since, same for the Hulk reboot.

I'm not going to mention all the films I've watched once and didn't like, because it would be no different than what I posted in the "Movies you hate that everyone else likes" thread.

So one that I liked but never watched again just so happens to also be The Dark Knight. Loved it in the theater. Bought the dvd (with Two Face coin) when it came out.

The dvd still has the cellophane wrap on it. :unsure

Yeah, my thinking with this was not 'I saw this movie once and HATED it so I've never watched it again'.

It's more 'I saw this movie, liked it, but now it's _____ years later and surprisingly I've still only seen it once'.

I'm a fan of the 'Bourne' movies. Saw the first one and loved it. Bought the DVD, watched many times. Same with the second 'Bourne', great movie, re-watched on DVD a handful of times. Loved the third one, realized the other day the DVD was still in the plastic wrap.

So add 'The Bourne Ultimatum' to my list.

Probably the movie "Se7en" perhaps? Or uh...Maybe "Casino Royal", or "Avatar". I'm sure there's more but I can't think of any more right now :p

Come to think of it I've only seen Se7en once as well- but a film like that loses a lot with multiple viewings. ;)

Kind of like The Sixth Sense, or The Usual Suspects (others I've only watched once and not because I hated them).

Citizen Kane - saw it once in high school on VHS...I'd probably appreciate it more now

Gone With The Wind - watched it to say I'd seen it

Back To The Future trilogy - might watch it/them again if there was nothing else on

napoleon dynamite, every body i knows loved it and i thought it was ok.i wanted to say avatar but i did see it twice,i wanted to give it a fair chance so i watched the reg then the directors cut but i still hate it

Inception, I really liked the movie, well shot, good script, enjoyed the acting. I just didn't feel like making my brain hurt a second time

Same here - I've only watched the trilogy once, but I really enjoyed it.

Also, add "Rabbit Proof Fence" - saw it when I was quite young (say 10 or 11), adored it, but haven't watched it again since.

"Bladerunner" and "History Boys" are two others I liked, but haven't watched more than once.

I've only seen The Matrix once, though I think I'll change that. I've only seen any Alien movie once... just didn't do it for me, but I think they're good films. Never seen Blade Runner.
