What lifts/stilts/platform boots do you use?

im going to be doing a couple suits which will need 6-8 inch lifts, and preferably lightweight, as in no wood blocks unless its a last resort. What height-increasing footwear do you use and for which costume?

oh boy that was a good read, lot of other great ideas in there too. I dig the adjustability cuz you can just use any length of pipe
