If anyone was at CV and saw the HUGE Wampa that was there (not the one in the G4 Ice bar - that was me), just know that the guy in the suit is 5'4" flat footed. In the Wampa costume he is like 8 1/2 feet or something close to it.

Could do a Big Daddy from Bioshock! Or as said before Chewiee, perhaps Clay Face, Oogie Boogie from Nightmare Before Christmas, Haggrid, Bane (comic book version NOT Batman and Robin), comic Book version Mr. Freeze, Superman, Sargent Hatered From Venture Brothers, also Brock Sampson. But I too like the idea of the Oompa Loompa or someting normaly small. Whatever you do have fun with it no matter what anyone says.

Trust me, Art. I constantly am posting on the Lair about people adding as much height as they can into their costumes WITHOUT visible Frankenstein feet showing. Some guys make feet with extra space inside to platform. That's where it's at! Other guys make feet without much ability to add space inside, and those are the guys you see with 4" Frankenstein soles under their Predator feet. True, the original Predator feet sculpts have sandals sculpted into them, and that's great for adding a tiny bit of platforming underneath that to blend into the sandal sculpt, but not the massive platforms you sometimes see Predator costumers using.

Since very few people are 7' like the movie actors, we've gotta fake it. I am 6'8" in my Predator costume, and just a hair under 6' tall barefoot. Most of my lifts are hidden internally in the feet, and the top of the big Predator bobble-heads adds about another 3" of height.

Every year I've chosen to bring my costume to Dragon Con, I'm always the tallest one there. More Predator costumers need to work on the feet issue.

OK, there's been like 12 people who have said "Predator" in this thread, so that's the direction the original poster needs to go.

I say do whichever costume you feel comfortable in. As long as you scale it to your particular build it will look fine.

I am an inch shorter but almost a hundred pounds heavier so I can empathize.

I do Mr Incredible, Bane, Thor and Jayne (Firefly) myself.

But a 6'6" ewok/jawa/oompa loompa would totally rock.

Master Chief bro, you would be even bigger in that costume and would definitely play the part. Also Iron Man in suit is that tall as well pefect fit IMO. Also Hulk would be bad ass
