What Does Belloq Drink in the Marhala Bar in Raiders?

Full Glass/Bottle and medallion/watch display (Indy Left ; Belloq Right). Both had access to the Ark in the middle (scale version obviously)

I also did some research into this as I wanted to do a replica bottle to hang my Rene replica watch on but with no luck however I did find out that a very popular drink in Egypt back then was dark rum or Rhum,so I looked at Rhum labels from the 1930's but found nothing that looked close to the one on his bottle, so i decided to just make up my own in photo shop loosely based on one's i did find, here's what I came up with PLEASE feel free to print and use it if you like it.

Done!
Thank you once again, Peter for sharing your work

Would tea grow bacteria or mold over time? I've been using distilled water with some white vinegar added (to further discourage growth of fungus and the like) and then use food coloring to match the color (save the real bottles which I have the real booze in until I drink it all and then I'll switch to food coloring and water. ;) )

Maybe if you left the tea over time but I change it and wash out the bottle a few times a year, do like your distilled water and vinegar with food colouring though so going to try it thanks.

The only downside I'm seeing is the vinegar seems to create some condensation on the sides of the bottle that liquor does not. I did not expect that. I'm wondering if something else might work similar to vinegar without the condensation issue.

Do you think that the Raven Bar shot glasses are the same than capt Bryant' ones in Blade Runner : they look close to me...
BTW : thanks for this great topic (y)

I assume you mean these shot glasses? They do look remarkably similar, yes. I wouldn't be surprised if they're not identical.

VonMagnum, do you have any marking on the bottom of your shot glass please? Mine shows an embossed kind of "L" with a number below....(not easy to capture on photo...)

Mine have a shield around a "T" I believe (the letter is hard to make out; my other glasses are downstairs. I'll take a look at them too. I know at least one of the glasses is slightly different than my other three (wider slats or something; I don't know if they were handmade or what as that might explain the slight size differences. Either that or one glass is a different one (I got them off eBay).

Edit: It could be an F (just saw the top part and reminded me of a T. I'll check the others later....watching "IT" (2007) right now.

No, I'm wrong. They're just like Mcintosh275's glasses (although one does have wider spaced slats than the other 3 I have). It's a Shield with an "F".

The shot-glass in my collection is "L" as well. That's for Libbey glassware, by the way. The glasses at the Raven bar were almost certainly a mix of brands.

Well, the glasses in the tent appeared to be Libbey glasses so it would makes sense they might have had Libbey shot glasses as well. It's also not impossible that more than one company made extremely similar shot glass designs. Without being able to look at an actual glass from the movie, who can say? It's also possible there's more than one maker of a glass that looks like the one in the tent too. I say close enough either way. All these are imitation props anyway, even ones made from molds from real props. It's just a matter of how crazy you want to go, I suppose. I kind of wish I had never started in the first place. This place is a bad habit. :D

I would say, being a bit of a antique glass collector, both Libby and Federal would be good options both would be common during the 1920's and 30's, however without seeing the actual stamp on the bottom of the glass I would not be able to clearly ID it.
