What Do you guys think about a custom Marvel Comic Vader?

So, I was at target today, and I passed by some Star Wars toys that Hasbro is making in the paint schemes of the old Marvel Comic books, and the gave me the idea that it might be cool to do a Darth Vader helmet painted up to resemble what Vader looked like in the old Marvel comics. What do you guys think, I'm thinking of of a more sophisticated paint scheme, but something that still evokes the image from the comics.

I was thinking that on a 1:1 comic vader, the blue shading could be more sophisticated. Something like that done on this model

might be interesting to see one with the subtle paint scheme of the mcquarrie statue vader with some cherry red lenses for the eyes. That would be quite similar to the comics.
