Question about Deadpool and Wolverine suit

How did they incorporate the protective material yet not sacrifice the range of motion? Is it like soldiers wearing a tactical vest? When they are wearing the protective vest they have an undershirt of spandex or did they mix it where they have the stretch material where it matters then the same will the protective material.

Its made with the traditional MCU method, the chest/ab area is one piece over the top of another piece for mobility, the cosplays are made the same way but not 100% exact to the movie production

So in the movie how would that be made with the protective material? Is the vest made of bulletproof than the photos you provided are the stretch material.
