As far as I know, VLC does not have frame by frame feature and the slowest rate I went for was 0.50x and I've never experienced jump scenes but it does pixelates if you go too slow, like 012X. The playback is perfect though, right? Just make you are playing it with the latest version of VLC and on a fast hard drive(7200rmp or SSD).

I emptied it! It has one but it's not working. If you press the lower case e when it's paused it should go to the next frame.

Also if you right click on the play bar it will bring up a menu. Chose View, then Advanced Controls. There are 4 icons. The one on the right is Frame by Frame.

Cool. Thanks for the tip, Tim. Yea, I got the same thing. I think it's the nature of the file. If you go too slow it will go crazy.

My gun is slightly bigger. I assume this is because it a 1st Gen copy or the material used for casting did not shrink as much.

Looks like it is "almost" 1:1, but no one will notice the difference unless he handles and closely compares it to the real deal. I guess it won't bother me too much when I get my Arc Generator

Just curious from those who have gotten their AG's... Did you get a tracking number for the shipment? I received an email saying my order was shipping but no sort of tracking information.

I never got a tracking number or a shipped email. Just the e-mail saying it was shipping soon. I e-mailed Darren at Weta, and he sent me one :thumbsup

Contacted the guys at WETA, (Darren has been great to deal with all along!), got my tracking number just in time to learn it was coming... TODAY! #50 of #200! Because everyone's posted such great pics already I won't bother posting even more.

I LOVE this prop!! Solid and very well painted and weathered though I'm really considering doing more weathering and painting to make it more screen accurate. I'm planning to build a custom display stand for it and I will be posting pics of that.

Great job, WETA! Can't wait for the Assault Rifle!!

I got mine today too!!! #13 and #14. Only opened one to check it and was surprised how much weathering there actually is already. Looks like I will have to sell one to pay some bills, so the idea of weathering one and having the other as is, is now out the window.

The outer boxes are fine, but the foam packaging inside one is badly broken at one end, but there is no damage that I can see. I am waiting for my boys to get home from school to totally unpack it though. So far I am very impressed, they look awesome! I will definitely put some funds away to get the Assault rifle now.

On another note, what one would you guys sell? I like the low numbers..but admit a bit superstitious with #13 :$

I don't think the number means anything. It's just a marker on the box so sell either one.
