Watchmen props

Slightly different framing of the photo, without the flash. It's not really as big as it looks, there's some nasty jaggies in there, but some fine noise, it looks like it was blown up and then some grain was thrown on top to try and mask it.

Is the "Watchmen 1970" photo with the banner shown in the "Under the Hood" doc? I may be able to screencap it in hi-def.

Its different than the picture on the magazine! :confusedwhere did you get that?
The smiles,gestures,and rorschach's mask pattern

this is the best I can do with the pic, not perfect but a little better i guess.
Oh that's pretty good! I could send you the hi-res scan if you want to work with that, though it is like a 70MB bitmap.

And Neon Sentry's looks a much nicer photo without the annoying crops.

Did anyone here buy the "Under the Hood" blank journal that is for sale?
I keep checking my local bookstores but I haven't found it yet.
I'm wondering if the back of the journal looks like the back of a novel i.e. photo of the author (Hollis Mason: Stephen McHattie) and synopsis of story.
Any answer would be appreciated and scans even more so. :love
If I get the journal first then I'll post it.

I don't think the journal will be available at regular book stores. I believe I read it was a comic shop exclusive, and many online retailers have it.

I got mine on Amazon for $12.99. The back is solid red except for a small Watchmen logo at the bottom.

Aw shucks. Thanks for the answer paulv70.
I'll probably get one anyway but it won't help me an "Under the Hood" project like i outlined earlier.

This thread isn't very active anymore but I thought some people might be interested in seeing my Watchmen movie prop collection so far. Most of them are pretty obvious except for Edward Blake's dogtags which I found on ebay. I printed out the two photos myself and made the Behind You sign in about 10 seconds.

Do we know what's inside the Tijuana Bible ?
Is it an old comic or that was drawn for the movie ?

Because we can see some pages...

I noticed some pages looked like the ones that are partially shown in the graphic novel however one quick shot looked even more graphic.:eek

Here are a couple of shots of my watchmen collection so far. The Minutemen photo is from Rollerboi and I also have a Sally Jupiter poster from him as well. It's framed but not up yet. I'll take pics when it is. The hat is by BendingOak.

Does anyone remember what toys were in Veidt's office? I know he had himself, Manhattan, Comedian, Silk Spectre II and Nite Owl II. But did he have a Rorschach? I don't think he did. I can't imagine he'd be able to sell a toy of a wanted murderer. Am I wrong though? Was there a Rorschach figure?

Yes, and he also had Molloch and Bubastis.
