Thanks, I saw that, but I wasnt sure if he did them at the 27", 24" or 21" since several sizes were mentioned.

Alright, I now have one of these great Helmets,
Rock,
Just one problem,
This is made for a person with average head
I have a 7 5/8ths head (Slightly larger then normal) and don't fit in the aperture,
I have never ever done anything with resin, and I need to open the hole up,
Any advice I could get would be greatly appreciated,

What exactally are you unsure about? If you're looking for advice on how to cut resin a rotary tool with a cutoff wheel usually works well. Just don't inhale the dust.

Thanks for the Advice, I picked up a cutoff wheel and went to town, in the end I had to cut 1/8th to 1/4 of a inch off the whole bottom ,
I blame my mother for my big head,
Sadly it fit on her head without problem before the surgery:cry
Now I just have to finish sanding it down and on to the next few steps , Yeah :love
So I'm back from the Far East at last and looking to get back to work on this project. I got a C&D from GW, so I can't sell helmets anymore. By my reasoning there's nothing stopping me from collaborating with other folks who want to build their own costumes though.
I'm looking at starting the armor next. I'll be building it in a reinforced composite and make the pieces overlap in ways that will make the armor one size fits most. Would anyone be willing to trade molding and casting materials for some costume parts?

Mostly I'm looking for someone to co-fund this project without sending me any money. So if I could get someone else to ship me some moldmaking urethane rubber or casting resin or powdered metal additives or anything else that would be a reasonable trade, that would be perfect.
That way I'm not "selling" anything in accordance with the cease and desist order.

Ok, I just stumbled on to this thread, and all I can say is HOLY CRAP that stuff looks good!! I'm kind of torn between the Mk VI armor and the Mk VII armor as my favorites, but I eagerly look forward to seeing how the eventual full armor suits turn out. Hopefully you guys can come up with something that will look proper on us non-augmented humans.
