Looking good!I'm updating this post with a request (i hope that's okay) i'm only a phew steps from finishing it and i need suggestions on improvements, like, i feel the feet are way too big
As for the paint.. i have no idea what colour or camouflage i want, SO if You have any suggestions your are welcomeNot a playah, but I have to agree the feet are long. Front extensions seem to curve sharply down in the original.
Of course, you need room for real feet, right?
Other details are probably outside my wheelhouse.
Early days, but do you have ideas for paint/livery?
First, let me apologize for focusing the conversation on the feet. You want more, I know.As for the paint.. i have no idea what colour or camouflage i want, SO if You have any suggestions your are welcome
dont worry! im glad you mentioned the feetFirst, let me apologize for focusing the conversation on the feet. You want more, I know.
Second, I am not good with paint schemes. I would suggest two focuses. Or foci.
Construction and paint should make this look BIG. Hoping someone who actually knows how that works will join in.
And, when in doubt, steal.
I like that one a lot, yeah!should the feet be more like in this image? this is the design i went for the second pair of feet, (i've actually done 3 pairs now) i had to rebuild them because they actually broke so right now im stuck with the long ones.
The hip and torso are two separate pieces as of nowAgain, the images I am seeing suggests a curved to the 'toes' though given materials, yours do look awesome.
Can you separate the upper and lower torso? Might help a 'not man in rubber suit' vibe.
Awkward build and wear, to be honest.
Great imageFor what it's worth for everyone, the art shows a tremendous amount of variability in these details. Here's a small sampling of artwork from the Sarna article I mentioned above, and this doesn't even cover over half a dozen video game appearances.

View attachment 1887188this is how the mech looks all disassembled, i might have to re build the arms using styrofoam because they are way too heavy as they are right now
