WAR MACHINE - FOAM ( new photos ) pg 3

Awesome !

You did such a great job in only a few time..
Props man, fast and effective.
I can only imagine how happy your son was :)

The paint job is really neat too !
How did you proceed for painting/sealing the foam ?

I'm making an Iron man suit and don't really know how to do it and not mess up all my work x)

Tks MrBibou! First I used pva glue, after a plastic sealing spray and to finalize I painted with a Metalic grafitte and silver car's spray.

Cheers Dan

this is great DaneilPrado - was reading earlier posts about superglue vs PVA - hot glue. Could I make a suggestion if you or some other guys haven't tried it. In the areas where it may be hard to get the hot glue gun tip where joining pieces what about using a reinforcing pad. Basically an overlapping piece of foam (thinner most likely or you compensate with the scale). The piece goes under the detail or main piece. I tried this when making some parts in the past. It works pretty good and definitely makes a strong joint. It increases the amount of work but I belive its worth it. Also, you can use scrap foam pieces - the underlaying joint piece doesn't have to be pretty - mainly a rectangular piece. WOW again- War Machine on my to do list...hopefully soon.

Good job man! Your paint job looks great! You have any full body pics of you suited up? You know succeeded when a kid freaks out.

Very Nice! ï want to make an War machine suit for my self. I'm thinking Pep or Foam. Or Both this looks nice can you drink a beer in the suit? That's my main concern. I got less than a year to complete it ;) Next Halloween

No matter what suit you build, if you keep the helmet on you will drink your beer from a straw LOL! Get blitzed faster so they say! Be like the real Tony!

Nice build, sharp and cool looking! Really like the abs!!!

Auhuahuahuaha, i use the same glue as you! It´s a cyanoacrilate made for leather. The seems are much better than using hot glue.
