War machine 1st attempt

Don't feel too bad, you aren't the Lone Ranger on this! My War Machine is still not done too! I wish I had stayed with the mk3 Id have had two done by now lol! It will be worth it in the long run! I just hope I'm not 80 years old when I'm done lol!

Every time I see a recent build it makes me think..why didn't I think of that..lol..everyone has their own ways to build their suits..yet I think they are all coming out fantastic..i don't think my suit will be THE BEST...but hopefully it will be out there with all the best ones..

No it's not supposed to but it came out like that..I'm leaving it as is for now..i will redo it after.....i don't like that i build it like that..but lost so much time on that..might finish it then sell it to someone that has a wm that has the same proportions..or that wants it..

Don, I just printed out the ab/cod piece for the warmachine armor and after cutting out all the pieces i realized that a lot of the numbers were completely off. Did you happen to run into this problem at all?

I had the same problem. I think when i rearranged some of the peices and used the cut and join as don said it kinda mixed up the numbers. Had to put mu abs and cod peice together by eye.. But its not hard

Usually what happens if you cut and joint it changes the numbers..you'll be fine of your able to save it..but if your poor like me and can't afford the pepakura program it will reset it to the regular numbers if you do anything else to it..i had the same problem..

Hello everyone I'm also new to pepakura and have a helmet question. I don't know what size I should make my helmet(War Machine) the files I just edited come out to be 2" too deep and tall. The width is fine tho. So should I scale it down say another .5" or 1" on the height and depth to make them fit better or should I just keep it the same? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Don, absolutely beautiful craftwork; you have redefined epic. It's great to see how much detail you've added. I started a foam WM about two months ago and told myself to take my time and enjoy the build. You've inspired me to keep on track.
