Well here's a small update on my helmet.....
One tip i think this is the most decent pep ive made...i even made the eye part......lol..well no matter how great you are things warp or twist a little...like the sides where the ears are...

To fix that problem I printed and traced it on cardboard ....

Glued it

Then it looked like this...nice and straight.....

I left the ears and the insert from the chin to be easier when i add bondo..it looks really straight..so hopefully not a lot of bondo..we have to see the damage that the resin does...


Thanks guys for all your comments...also i actually went with 1.10 scale feels good hopefully it doesn't look off with my scaling..

Nice work. Don't you hate those glue strings? I ended up buying an 80 watt high-heat gun (most low-heat guns are 10 watts lol) and it doesn't leave those strings nearly as bad as the old one did. It also will also burn the hell out of you though, so I don't know if I won or lost that battle :lol

I don't mind them...lol..i usually use some making tape like a lint remover to take them out..

Becouse i think that the torso is to big
I build it whit your scales but i really hate it lol
So i change a little the meassures and build it by fourt time lol

What scale did you use for torso?

I'm not rebuilding the whole suit...
Just the helmet

I thing my torso is just a bit big but i can live with it...
And all the scales are different for some reason you can't import the parts together and do one scale...

The only one you can do like that is the whole leg...
How tall are you Hylian Albert? Remember what scales work for another won't work for all...is just for reference..

Well 2 or 3 inches make a big difference when your scaling......lol
There are some parts that i would of redone if i had to redo again...they fit off..but oh well...post pictures...

That slot is so i can easily make this look........its going to be for looks..my plan will be that flaps will hold my battery packs may have two one on each side...

So I finally finished my helmet ....fiberglassed..heres some pictures....i know..its just another helmet nothing special.....but its my helmet..lol...just happy because it fits way better...it's more acurate...and much lighter...

Here's my first helmet i ever made next to my current..i want to say I'm really happy with the turn out..the eyes are more accurate..i realized i messed up the first helmet.....well i might start to bondo this helmet soon...i want to see how it looks..i want a finish product like all you other iron man lovers with great helmets.....here they are side by side

Yes the other fit really Tight it made my head hurt..this has more room....hopefully it looks proportionate with the suit..
