As usual, I am always looking for things to design and print testing the abilities of my little FDM style printer.
I am finding that the better the printer does at the fine details the more I am impressed by how it does it.
I figured I would try and design a Star Trek Combadge from information and images found on line and since
I do not have access to the real deal the accuracy and size is as close as I could get.
It is made to come apart in 4 individual sections (reveal type) which each could be considered it's own working unit.
The internal "individual electronic components" (raised parts) can also be painted to highlight their visibility.
This is just a prototype, but I thought I would share it here
