Has anybody done or seen a Voyager Desk console like the one Janeway uses? Like the TNG bank console one only sleeker looking. I've been looking for information or an actual one for sometime. If you've got information, please let me know.

I know there are two for sale at the Christies auction coming up, but I am sure they will have a pretty high asking price.

that's where I got the photo from. I was hoping somebody here might have a lead on one or something.

Well I don't have one from Voyager but I do have Captain Picards working desktop viewer from Star Trek TNG. I was going through the listings in the upcoming Star Trek auction and they have one like mine but non working. There description reads the following: (Enterprise -D DESKTOP VIEWER
One prop computer monitor with nonfunctional backlit screen and swivel base -10x10in -- this prop was originally painted black and used in the Enterprise-D sets in Star Trek The Next Generation. It was later repainted and reused for use on a variety of alien ships sets in Star Trek TNG and Star Trek Voyager. This is the only know surviving Enterprise --D desktop computer monitor prop in its original form, it was highly-recognizable part of the look of Star Trek TNG)

I guess they don't know about mine . I can't wait to see what there non working one sells for.

Propman, would you mind sharing some pics and/or dimensions of your piece? That would be highly appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance.

I assume when you say that yours is "functional" you mean that it's backlit? Yes, please do share some images. :thumbsup

Hi all,

Yes by saying mine is functional when you hit the button the screen lights up. There is a cool image on the screen still. I will take some pictures and post later today or tonight.

Thanks

I'd almost say the new one looked scratchbuilt but that base looks like it could be from some sort of childs toy or something.

Sorry for the delays but here they are. Any questions please feel free to PM me. The brown desktop is the one in the auction and is not mine.

Thanks

The base on the Voyager one looks very familiar somehow. My guess would be that it's the base of an electronic kitchen scale - LCD readout, four buttons... it's possible?

Up Date:

Captain Janeway's desktop computer just sold for $18,000.00 . . .

I wonder what my screen used Picard desktop is worth ???

Only one way to find out, list it in the next Profiles in History Auction.

While it is not Christies, and does not have the hype and frenzy of this current Auction, that would be one way.

Or else start taking bids here. ;)

I would say yours would have went from 6 Thou to 20 thou.

Not only does it work but it is a much nicer piece.

I would think mine being Picards would bring more that Janeways ??? I wonder who won it and are they Interested in mine at that kind of $$$$$ ????? :) :) :)
