Vortex 2 voice changer - first look!

Can you guys post a sound byte comparing a normal voice and that of the voice changer?

Anybody out there doing Vader? Where have you placed the speakers?
For CIV, I had small Sony speakers velcroed to my belt in back firing at the inside of my cape. Just breathing loop only though. Sounded pretty good, IMO. But now, I want the voice to come out the "front" with the V2. Any ideas?

I placed my speaker just above the chest box under the pleated leather shirt. There is this nice divit area in the human body that seems to conceil a 3 inch speaker very nicely. I had to cut away some of the backing cloth and padding being carefull not to cut the pleating to aid in sound travel. I then made a small pocket from scrap fabric to hold the speaker and hand sewed it to the inside of the shirt.

Does anyone know the correct speaker cable to buy from Radio Shack to connect the Vortz to the speaker? I lost mine and need toreplace it, but can't rememberwhich cable itis.

There is a specific type. Otherwise it wil lnot play through the speaker. I just can't remember the name of it.

Hmm...the pic on his site looks like a standard cable. Maybe he'll chime in and help us.

Make sure you getthe cable for 1/8 Stereo plugs and not the attenuated or mono cable.I picked it up yesterday and it worked fine.

well i know the V1 will work in mono or stereo either one.

in stereo, you just flip it on. in mono, you have to hold the micro switch down while turning it on.

i dont know, but the V2 might work the same way.

for stereo, just make sure you get the stereo 1/8th cable with jacks.

mono is same size 1/8th as well.

if your running 2 speakers, then pick up a Y connector also. so a single output, from unit, will split with a line to each speaker.

either mono, or stereo they make both.
