I dunno, I thought she was pretty good in the new TRON film, myself. She would've been a FAR better choice than Megan Fox.

Basically, the Catwoman you had in mind is a personality construct that differs from how other people see Catwoman, including Catwoman herself. Why else do you think that some people think that Hathaway's Catwoman is the best, while others say that Pfeiffer's Catwoman is the best [...]Because it differs depending on the point of view. The same is true with the comics and video game versions of Catwoman as well. So, you imagined the Catwoman to be a certain way and became disappointed when it wasn't (olivia wilde or Cote de Pablo).

Exactly. Basically, everyones concept of the Catwoman character and who should play that character differs with each point of view. To me, I would prefer Cote de Pablo or Olivia Wilde. Maybe even Ashley Judd. To someone else, they may think Nolan's casting director made a right choice. And I'm sure there are others that prefer someone else would prefer someone other than Anne Hathaway, Cote de Pablo and Olivia Wilde for the role. Even with the Catwoman's portrayal in the comics, video games, the animated series, the live action series and in the movies, locking down THE Catwoman is often hard to do, as appearance and style changes with each one.
With me, growing up watching the 1960s show, reading some of the comics, watching "Batman Returns" and even watching the animated series, my perception of the Catwoman comes from what I've interpreted from those sources. And everyone's own interpretation of the characters comes from how they analyzed the same information.

i think they are going to try something new...a new interpretation of bane....maybe, he is one of wayne's scientist working on a super soldier serum...wayne disapproves of it and he goes on a roid rage....or maybe a mob boss....

I know a lot of people are stoked at the idea of Catwoman being in the film, but one thing that you guys have to remember, it's not going to be the same Catwoman you saw in the comics, especially when it comes to the design and materials that make up her suit.
The only problem with the idea of the Catwoman suit is the practicality of her suit in the real world, in comparison to the comics (as some people think that she should have the same kind of outfit design from the comics). Since Nolan's version of Batman prides itself is being set in a world that is almost real to ours, including the plausibility of technology like the Tumbler existing, the Catwoman suit has to abide by the same rules. The Batman suit utilizes the core principle of the design with the application of pre-existing modern technology when it comes to the armor and tools. If Nolan's going to apply that same sensibility to turning Catwoman into a real character, she's not going to dressed in an outfit with a design straight out of any comics, nor is her suit going to look anything like the one from Batman Returns. She's going to be in an outfit that is equally plausible to that of the Batsuit in the films, where they based it on real-world equivalents.
Look at the Scarecrow, Two-Face and the Joker in the films as examples of applying their core designs into a real world. In comparison to their comic versions, they barely look anything alike in design (not just their personalities and backgrounds). Joker's outfit in "The Dark Knight" is not a opera conductor suit, but looks like a tailor cut the patterns for his shirt, vest and pants from those use for a 1950s business man's suit. Harvey Dent's outfit in comparison to that of the comic barely reflects the obvious dichotomy of the fractured mind that Harvey Dent has in the comics, but utilizes the burns he got on the suit and face in a similar way to the normal pattern/bizarre pattern used for him in some of the comics or the Half Black, Half White color scheme used in the Animated Series. When it comes to Scarecrow, the only thing that was ever "Scarecrow"-like for the outfit in the film was the mask. Though they all use similar ideas to those in the comics, they aren't exact to the comics. So, it's safe to say for Catwoman, she's not going to be rocking a skin-tight latex, skin-tight leather or even skin-tight purple spandex. She's not going to be sporting high heels. I'm betting the suit may be a bit more bulky to accommodate pockets for tools like a glass cutter (let's face it, has anyone seen any kind of gloves that can be used to cut glass with the turn of the wrist?). Honestly, I expect the suit to be like the second image posted by thegreatgalling in this post, or the the design I posted the link for a while back, made by a user on DeviantArt (without the goggles, because they would cause tunnel vision). Basically, it's going to allow her to fit into tight places and still allow her to tussle if the situation calls for it.
The same can be said about Bane. That's why I say that if they get rid of that "super juice makes me stronger" element, Bane is plausible as a valid Batman villian. That "superjuice" element is the only thing that is really comic bookish in the character design.
There's a documentary about the Technology of Batman in Nolan's films, which shows how he and his production designers look at real world examples and technology to create plausible tools that Batman could use. If they made everything the same as the comics, people would get bored. If they didn't change things, where would the surprise be? I think one of the biggest things people love about Nolan's Batman movies is seeing the things come to life in the way he is doing it. Catwoman's suit is nothing to be worrying about for this movie.

One hesitates to point out that the Nolan version of the character isn't the Batman from the comics, for fear of the whirlpool of critical dismay one might inadvertently cause to be produced amongst the unprepared.
